The appointment was contained in a letter dated January 26, 2018, to the Senate president, Bukola Saraki, The Cable reports. Spokesman of the president, Femi Adesina, who confirmed the appointment in a statement on Thursday, February 1, said it was subject to the confirmation of the senate.
